About the Role
This pivotal position involves supporting the Structures team in project management, workload delegation, and client interfacing.
The ideal candidate will possess significant design experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to manage projects, lead initiatives, and mentor fellow engineers within the team.
You will have the opportunity to run projects independently and gain experience which will lead you to a more senior role.
We are looking for someone with:
* A Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
* Typically 6-10 years of relevant industry experience
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant local and Australian standards and practices
* CPEng status is highly desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data and design solutions for various engineering challenges
* Strong attention to detail, precision in planning, design, and execution of projects
* Excellent communication skills, proficiency in conveying technical information effectively to all stakeholders
Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure timely completion of projects
* Developing and implementing effective project plans and schedules
* Maintaining accurate records and reports of project progress and results
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects
* Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
