Your new role
* You'll be responsible for guiding the development of client's internal website, ensuring that all designs align with our strategic goals and user needs. Your role will involve reviewing design submissions, collaborating with designers and developers, and ensuring the website is user-friendly and optimized. You'll also monitor website performance and stay updated with the latest web development trends to keep our site current and competitive. Provide user experience and design advice to project teams tasked with the redesign and platforming of the organisation's websites.
* Establish and maintain the design library of the organisation's current-state and future-state web portal user interface designs that consumers, practitioners and partners rely on to interact digitally with the organisation.
* Collaborating with Project team(s) to understand and develop User Experience inputs into processes, UI designs and promote best practice design aligned with future-state designs.
* Undertake User/Customer research
What you'll need to succeed
1. Strong years-experience within a commercial or government environment with a portfolio of inspiring and innovative solutions for customers
2. Proficiency in the use of Human Centred Design and Design Thinking methods
3. Analytical, strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills
4. Experience in digital design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, ProtoPie or Framer
5. Proven experience working on digital products and services for consumer and business applications
6. Experience working in highly collaborative and multidisciplinary teams
7. A passion for innovation including keeping up to date with design best practices trends
8. Experience in CRM and data visualisation software such as Salesforce and Power BI and or other leading Customer Experience platforms.
9. Familiarity with Salesforce Design System (SLDS):
Understanding Salesforce's design system and its components ensures consistent and seamless interfaces that align with the platform's look and feel.
10. Knowledge of Salesforce platform limitations and customization capabilities:
Understanding the constraints and possibilities within the platform that helps create designs that can be efficiently implemented by developers
