About the role
The Warehouse Operator, Counter Sales role is a Full-time position, based at Centennial Park / Albany, WA. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
In this role you will:
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
* Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
* Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
* Unloading inbound orders of stock.
* Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
* Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
* Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
* Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Your hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am - 4pm.

* Forklift licence is essential.

* An eagerness to learn about products and services.
* Computer literacy and/or familiarity with POS systems will be highly regarded
* Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
* Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
* Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
