Position description:
* Conducting legal research, analysis, and preparing reports on relevant legal issues.
* Drafting straightforward legal correspondence and documents for review by senior legal staff.
* Providing assistance on legal matters led by senior lawyers, and managing routine matters with appropriate supervision.
* Reviewing evidence and applying relevant laws to develop well-reasoned legal conclusions or compelling arguments, under guidance.
* Organising and maintaining a comprehensive repository of external legal advice.
Key Capabilities :
* A law degree or current progress toward completion is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to manage and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues through collaboration, negotiation, and teamwork.
* Demonstrated capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Position Requirements / Qualifications:
* Baseline Clearance.
* Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
* A law degree or current progress toward completion is highly desirable.
