Capital and Projects Financial Expert
This role is an excellent opportunity to add value by providing expert financial guidance and advice to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial requirements for capital portfolio, including asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, revaluations, stocktake, impairment, Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations review, management reporting and variance analysis.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising on financial accounting and compliance standards in a complex business environment.
* They will lead the external audit process, manage all end of month close activities, and deliver management reports and statutory reporting.
* A key duty includes managing monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet and P&L general ledger reconciliations completion, review and sign off.
* The candidate will also contribute to the completion of financial statements with respect to capital and project related disclosures.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce/Business.
* Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA).
* Demonstrated experience leading a team.
* Extensive experience within large/complex organizations.
* Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
