Are you a passionate gardener looking to join a energetic team of landscape professionals? MJ Landscapes and Maintenance, a leading provider of landscaping and maintenance services in Southport, QLD, is seeking a Gardener & Mowing Operator to join our growing team. This is a casual role providing fulltime hours.
What you'll be doing
- Performing general gardening duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and planting
- Operating lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining well-presented and tidy outdoor spaces
- Participating in team-based projects and collaborating with other landscaping professionals
- Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- Experience 1-2 years - Not required
- Demonstrated experience in gardening, landscaping or a related field – has experience using ride‑on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, hedging, brush cutting.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A positive, customer‑focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to work
