About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner or PHO for a locum position based in Ipswich, Queensland, with an initial contract of three months and potential for extension. This role offers a mix of in-centre and virtual support model shifts, allowing you to deliver quality primary and preventative healthcare across a diverse regional population. You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing services across ten hospitals, health centres, and community clinics in rural South East Queensland.

About You
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and current registration
- Strong clinical background in general practice, emergency, or primary care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage both face‑to‑face and telehealth consultations
- A genuine interest in rural health and community engagement
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian or New Zealand citizenship required
