Speech Pathologist Role Summary
* This is a paediatric focused Speech Pathology position in rural location, involving clinic appointments and travel.
* The primary role is to conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language and communication needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
* Responsibilities include providing therapy through telehealth and face-to-face sessions, working closely with families, educators and other professionals.
* Key tasks involve coaching and strategies to parents, carers and educators, mentoring and supervising Therapy Assistants and creating engaging therapy resources.
* Additionally, there are opportunities to contribute to the growth of the practice by leading or participating in innovative projects.
* Maintaining accurate client notes, progress reports and records is also an essential aspect of this role.
* Effective time management is required to balance client sessions, preparation and other responsibilities.
* You will be involved in delivering therapy for drive-in-drive-out candidates as per a mutually agreed schedule.
* Creating online materials and programs to extend the reach and impact of House of Speech is also expected from this position.
* Staying updated with evidence-based practices is crucial to incorporate them into your therapy and support client goals.
