The Administration Officer is expected to provide timely and accurate administrative/ transactional services for members of the health care team, in the Division of Surgery under the direction of the Divisional Support Officer and Co-Directors. The Administration Officer works under broad supervision however is required to take some independent action. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures.

The role involves data entry and reporting, assisting in obtaining information, reports or correspondence related to patient care, minute taking, producing divisional newsletter and maintaining their intranet, creating surveys and various other administration tasks as directed by the Divisional Support Officer.
