Overview
JWS is currently seeking casual Pressure Welders to support a major shutdown at Bluewater's Power Station in Collie, WA. The shutdown is scheduled to commence in April 2026 and will run for approximately four weeks.
We are looking to engage qualified and experienced Pressure Welders who are available for short-term work. The shutdown will include 10.5-hour day shifts and 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Trade Qualifications – Fabrication
* Experience in TIG/MIG/STICK; mirror welding
* Perform General/Tig, Pipework Welding activities on carbon steel/chrome moly 10-16mm wall thickness, all in accordance with company & client processes and procedures.
* OHS Construction Induction (White/Blue Card)
* Confined Space/Working at Heights card (obtained within the last two years)
* Previous knowledge of Power Station outage work is preferred
* Valid Driving License
* Ability to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing
