Fibre Splicers
- 3-12 month contract
- EDT is working with an established organisation based in Perth that is looking to engage a number of Fibre Splicers on a permanent position.
- Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from Fibre Splicers that have experience of Telstra Wideband / NBN.
- Your role will see you working together in a team and responsible for:
- OTDR Testing
- Demonstrated ability working on Telstra/Optus/Vodafone networks or similar
- Single-Mode, Multi-mode, Fusion fibre splicing, testing and installations
- Exchange Superstructure installations
- Exchange cabling and terminating (Cat5, Cat6, Fibre).
- Provide assistance to team members
- BTS Installation, Commission, and Integration (including Drive/Handover Test, and Fault Find/Rectification)
- DC Rack Installation, Commission, and testing (including Fault find/rectification)
**Minimum experience required**:
- At least 2-3 years' experience in similar roles
- Certificate III in Telecommunications
- Drivers Licence
- Open cabler licence
- Construction white card
- First Aid certificate
- Confined Space certificate
- NBN Safety and Awareness
