School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Part-time (40% FTE), fixed-term position for 2 years The full-time base salary will range from $112,572 - $133,381 17% Superannuation (Academic Level B) Based at our vibrant St Lucia campus About This Opportunity We are seeking a Lecturer in Physiotherapy, with expertise in Musculoskeletal and/or Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy, to join our world-leading School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and be part of the dedicated teaching team educating future generations and creating an exceptional student experience. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your teaching impact through leadership in student experience and course coordination, aligned with UQ values, and engage in internal and external collaborations that influence teaching and clinical education practices. Key responsibilities will include: Teaching: Develop, coordinate and deliver courses, engage in innovative curriculum design and implementation and student assessment. Research: Establish collaborative teaching and learning links and develop improved approaches towards quality clinical education practices. Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute clinical knowledge and skills to research projects. Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, mentor and support colleagues and engage in internal service roles and activities. This is a teaching focused position. About You Applicants should possess a PhD in Physiotherapy, and/or a Master degree in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) and/or Physiotherapy (Sports), along with an APA title as a Musculoskeletal and/or Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Additionally, you will demonstrate: Evidence of high-quality university teaching in Physiotherapy across a variety of settings, including post-graduate specialty Physiotherapy programs. An emerging profile of teaching impact in Physiotherapy. Participation in projects that improve curriculum, pedagogy or assessment practices, with funded projects being well regarded. Participation in curriculum development at the program and/or course level in Physiotherapy. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in teaching, learning and clinical practice. A profile of professional clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and/or sports and exercise Physiotherapy that complements and/or supplements the expertise that currently exists within the School and the broader University. Mandatory requirements: You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply (visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment). The successful candidate will also be required to hold AHPRA registration and complete mandatory immunisations (as they apply to this position).
