About the Role
Join the Surgical & Orthopaedic- 4th floor nursing team, a trusted leader and recognised Centre of Excellence in orthopaedic care. You'll work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team, including surgeons and support staff, in a collaborative and supportive environment dedicated to delivering outstanding patient outcomes. This role offers exposure to advanced surgical technologies and encourages ongoing professional development through education and leadership opportunities such as shift coordination and mentoring.
About You
You are an experienced and empathetic Registered Nurse who thrives in a busy surgical and orthopaedic setting, bringing the following key skills and qualities:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current registration with AHPRA
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a surgical or orthopaedic setting
* Sound knowledge of nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation principles
* Strong clinical judgement and ability to respond effectively to patient condition changes
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage patients and families
* Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical nursing practice
