Revenue NSW is seeking a visionary and outcome-focused leader to spearhead a multi-year initiative as Director Program Delivery aimed at modernising core digital tax systems and delivering additional compliance revenue. This high-impact role will oversee the transformation of digital infrastructure and compliance functions across Stamp Duty and Land Tax, while enhancing customer experience and strengthening governance across the organisation. As Director Program Delivery, you will: Steer the delivery of a multi-year transformation aligned with government priorities and compliance revenue targets. Oversee the implementation of new digital systems and business processes that support real-time compliance. Establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, and performance frameworks. Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary and growing team, including 5 direct reports. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain continued support, transparency, alignment, and delivery confidence. Does this sound like you? You are a collaborative and outcomes-focused leader with: Extensive experience in delivering large-scale, complex programs in a government or regulatory environment. Proven experience running a compliance function in taxation or revenue contexts. Advanced knowledge of IT systems, digital transformation, and business process redesign. Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Demonstrated success managing large, multidisciplinary teams and delivering measurable benefits. Expertise in project governance, risk management, and benefits realisation. In-depth knowledge of State Taxes. Highly Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications. Experience working with central agencies and in matrixed environments. Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall frameworks Background in customer-centric IT delivery.
