Job Summary

This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. As a skilled Case Manager, you will be embedded in existing teams, working collaboratively with Therapeutic Specialists and other service providers to provide foster care placements that support the development and safety of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Providing children & young people with foster care placements that will support their development & maintain safety
* Engaging with volunteer carers to set them up for success
* Working collaboratively with DFFH and other services providers
* Managing competing administrative tasks, home visits and phone calls


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through additional training in CARE and TCI, and work closely with Therapeutic Specialists who will provide expert guidance and consultation.

You will be responsible for advocating for children in placements, attending care team meetings, and ensuring that children and young people in foster care receive stable and long-term care. Key benefits of this role include:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
