The Company With a core business focus on crop protection, our client is an Australian company that works closely with its business partners to provide leading edge crop input solutions that are established and widely regarded in the market. As their business continues to develop through product innovation and customer development, including export markets they have and will continue to invest in their operational and commercial capacity. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a newly created Marketing Manager as part of their management team.
The Role As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership and execute a marketing plan within the business. You will develop strategies to meet the key objectives, ensure clarity of messaging and branding of a well-known brand with a range of existing and new products to a broad group of stakeholders.
You will deliver brand messaging to stakeholders across the reseller, farming, agronomist, and consultant network, with the autonomy to execute this strategy using internal and external stakeholders. You will use a mixture of traditional media and innovative campaigns to position and align the products within their market segments and integrate these with a developing digital marketing portfolio.
* The Person To be successful in this role, you will have;
* At least 5 years' experience in a brand management or marketing communications role or have relevant sales / marketing experience within an agribusiness.
* Well developed communication and negotiation skills.
* Display a willingness to learn and develop and work in a collaborative environment.
* Relationship and consensus building skills along with influencing / negotiation skills.
* Experience developing a digital marketing portfolio.
The role offers some flexibility with regard to location for the right candidate however Melbourne is a preferred location.
