We're now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager Accounts who is ready to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to complex financial reporting, systems transformation, and senior stakeholder engagement.
This is a hands-on, senior technical role with scope to grow, influence change, and build capability across finance during a period of significant transformation.
About The Role
Reporting to the National Manager, Finance, Accounting and Systems, this role sits at the intersection of financial reporting, planning, and major system implementation, providing strong development and visibility. Key responsibilities include:
* Financial reporting & planning: Review monthly and annual analysis, trackers, and checklists, and manage key milestones across budgets, forecasts, outlooks, and mid-term planning
* Insight & stakeholder engagement: Analyse financial trends and communicate insights to senior stakeholders locally and globally
* BAU finance support: Support the finance, treasury, and tax teams to manage BAU workload during project activity and system change
* Finance transformation & systems: Manage Projects as senior finance analyst, validate finance and treasury process design documentation, ensuring full coverage of accounting and treasury activities representing finance and treasury functions
* Testing & assurance: Validate financial calculations, posting logic, and accounting flows in new systems, ensuring accurate integration into SAP
* Process improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve finance processes with minimal manual intervention
* Training & change support: Support and train finance and treasury teams on new systems, processes, and reporting requirements
* Data migration & reconciliation: Partner with project and migration teams to reconcile migrated contract-level data and sign off balances as the finance representative
This role offers broad exposure, complexity, and development, without formal people management accountability.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
* A Senior Accountant or Manager ready to step up into a broader, more visible role
* Experienced in financial or management accounting, ideally within financial services or a complex corporate environment
* CA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
* Confident working across reporting, analysis, systems, and process improvement
* Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-focused
* Adaptable, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment
* Interested in finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement
Experience with SAP and involvement in system implementations or large projects will be highly regarded.
