Role
We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Reporting & Data Analyst (Contract) to join our National Operations team.
This role will focus primarily on developing and enhancing business and operational performance reports, data models and data logic. You will also support ad hoc analysis and data requests across the business, working with admissions and student enrolment datasets to deliver meaningful insights that inform decision-making.
You will partner closely with leadership teams and internal stakeholders across Kaplan Business School and Australian Pathways to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain data models and business logic aligned to operational requirements and business rules.
* Design, build and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards from ingestion through to visualisation.
* Build and optimise Power Automate flows to support data sourcing, data operations and report distribution.
* Develop supporting Excel-based reporting solutions using VBA, Macros or Office Scripts.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance existing reports and develop new data products.
* Deliver ad hoc analysis and insights to support business and operational decision-making.
* Work with operational datasets including admissions and student enrolments data.
* Contribute to a safe, collaborative and values-driven workplace in line with Kaplan policies and standards.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience with Power BI and Power Query, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling and visualisation.
* Strong experience building and maintaining Power Automate cloud flows.
* Solid experience developing Excel-based reporting solutions using VBA and/or Office Scripts.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with prior experience in business, commercial, sales or operational analysis.
* Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful reporting outputs.
* Strong data interpretation skills and the ability to present insights in a clear, fit-for-purpose format.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* Experience working with operational KPIs, data definitions and data quality management (desirable).
