ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of our Head Office and assist with day-to-day operational and administrative functions. This role is based at our Ipswich Office and is an integral part of a busy, collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing front reception (monitoring incoming calls and managing site visitors and contractors).
• Coordinating travel arrangements for training, including transport and accommodation.
• Managing shared calendars, meeting room bookings, and meeting preparation (agendas, room setup, and documentation).
• Completing administrative tasks such as requesting quotes, processing invoices, ordering stationery and supplies, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintaining company registers, including fleet management, asset registers, access controls, and security codes.
• Coordinating and planning work-related functions and events.
• Maintaining accurate records across internal management systems in line with Strive policies and procedures.
• Supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, including vehicle registrations and fire safety scheduling.
• Contributing to social media content as part of Strive's marketing and branding
• Cultural knowledge and/or lived experience that supports an inclusive and culturally responsive approach to working with young people.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
• Certificate in Business Administration (or similar)
• Relevant equivalent experience in community services, or similar, sector
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable:
• Experience coordinating travel, onboarding, or asset management.
• Familiarity with compliance, recordkeeping systems, or quality frameworks.
• Experience processing invoices or supporting basic finance functions.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement:
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card / WWCC)
• Current NDIS Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Current Australian National Criminal History Check (within the last 12 months)
• LCS2 Clearance (or willingness to apply upon interviewing)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within four weeks)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
