Job Opportunity: Financial Controller
Austcorp Executive is partnering with a leading Australian-owned bulk haulage and mining company.
Due to their continued success, they are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.
This role reports directly to the CFO and is based in their Perth offices.
As the Financial Controller, you will manage the finance team and prepare forecasts and financial reports for the Senior Executive team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the finance team to meet reporting deadlines
Prepare consolidated group management reports and conduct financial analysis of individual contracts
Create rolling 3-way financial forecasts
Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts, payables, receivables, prepayments, intercompany loans, fixed assets, equipment loans, and employee entitlements
Manage the payroll function, including reporting and lodgment obligations
Prepare statutory annual financial reports and coordinate external audits
Ensure internal controls and processes comply with accounting standards
Collaborate with operations to ensure financial data collection and reporting systems are effective
What You'll Bring:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting (CPA/CA qualified)
At least 5 years of experience in a large transport, freight, or mining company
Experience with Xero, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills (highly regarded)
Strong time management skills
Experience managing a team of at least 5 direct reports
