Northern Beaches Hospital Food Service team is looking to employ
1x Full Time Food Services Assistant
to join their busy department ASAP. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Assist in preparation of food trays for patient consumption
* Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays in accordance to established meal schedules
* Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
* Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
Selection Criteria
* Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
* Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
* Excellent time management skills
* Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
Hourly Rate
$29.21 per hour plus superannuation plus annual leave and sick pay
PLUS Different Shift Times Will Reward Additional Loading
* Early afternoon shifts @10% extra
* Mid afternoon shifts @12.5% extra
* Nightshift @15% extra
Weekend Penalty Rates
* Saturday @50% loading
* Sunday @75% loading
