The Graduate Metallurgist role offers a comprehensive development program with hands-on experience and structured learning. The position involves working in various departments to gain a thorough understanding of the processing plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Gaining exposure to crushing, grinding, leaching, CIP, elution, refining, and tailings disposal as a Processing Technician.
* Working as a Laboratory Technician in sample preparation and wet laboratory operations.
* Assisting Plant and Senior Metallurgists in monitoring plant performance and reporting variances.
* Participating in plant surveys and improvement projects to gather critical plant operating data.
* Developing a broad understanding of the KoTH Operation and collaborating with multiple departments.
Requirements
* Holding recognised tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
* Displaying outstanding attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Having vacation work experience within the Mining industry, ideally within Gold Mining.
* Being proficient in computer skills in MS Office Suite.
* Holding a Current WA Driver's License (manual C Class).
* Having current or being willing to obtain qualifications in confined space entry, gas testing, and working at heights.
