TMX has an established and growing industrial property and project delivery practice, supporting clients across warehouse and distribution centre developments, automation projects, cold storage facilities and major logistics infrastructure.
As our project pipeline continues to expand, we are seeking a Director to lead major industrial delivery project(s) and play a key role in growing our Australian delivery capability.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role responsible for client-side delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics developments, typically $50M+ project builds, from early planning through construction and handover.
You will lead complex projects for major occupiers and developers while helping to grow TMX's delivery capability in Australia.
The role combines technical delivery leadership, client engagement and commercial ownership, working closely with TMX's broader supply chain, automation and property advisory teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead client-side delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics developments ($50M+ builds)
* Manage projects across feasibility, design, procurement, construction and commissioning
* Deliver complex logistics facilities including automation, high-bay warehousing, cold storage and specialist MHE environments
* Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders including developers, occupiers and investors
* Guide tenants and operators through pre-lease negotiations, developer-led D&C structures and delivery strategies
* Translate operational supply chain requirements into practical property and construction solutions
Project & Delivery Management
* Lead and coordinate contractors, developers, design consultants and technical advisors
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards
* Manage commercial outcomes including project margins, resourcing and delivery performance
What You Bring
* Proven track record managing minimum of $100M+ construction projects
* Background with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor, developer, client-side project management firm or consultancy
* Deep understanding of industrial property development and construction delivery
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with senior client executives
* Commercial acumen and experience managing project financial performance
* A leadership mindset with the ability to mentor teams and drive delivery standards
