The Risk Committees Governance team is responsible for the efficient & effective management of a number of the bank’s key governance forums, providing a robust governance framework & high‑quality advice to stakeholders across Australia & New Zealand. Based in Sydney, you will join a highly engaged & collaborative team that values hybrid working. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Risk Committees Governance, you’ll step into a dynamic role that involves shaping meeting agendas, refining documentation & papers, facilitating signoffs, & other activities to ensure optimal operation of the governance forums. Top Role Accountabilities: Prepare Committee agendas in partnership with the Committee Chair Collate & review of papers submitted for accuracy & consistency of standards Provide guidance to stakeholders on writing papers, escalations & best practice governance Attend Committee meetings, minute taking, & distributing minutes in a timely manner Manage meeting schedules, logistics, attendees & dial-in conferencing requirements Coordinate, manage & record decisions for urgent requests handled via circular resolution Maintain central records of committee meetings, decision making, membership registers, & attendance Manage the committee Action Log, including assigning & following up items to ensure completion Review & maintain the committee Terms of References Support broader initiatives & deliverables of the wider team To be successful you will have: At least 1-3 years’ experience working with corporate &/or risk governance frameworks Demonstrated understanding of governance principles & best practice Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, including writing reports or papers Strong organisational skills to manage various committees, stakeholders & deliverables Effective time management & prioritisation skills High attention to detail An ability to build & maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, including Senior Leaders Strong influencing & negotiation skills to gain stakeholder support leading to commitment to action & outcomes A continuous improvement mindset & willingness to challenge the status quo What we're proud to offer you: Wellbeing leave.
