Catholic Homes is seeking a Kitchen Support Worker to join our team at Ocean Star Aged Care located in Bunbury on a part-time casual basis to work shifts from Thursday to Sunday. Ocean Star is our family-friendly residence located on the beachfront along Ocean Drive and is close to the town centre, cafes and amenities. The successful applicant will receive ongoing support and guidance from the manager and Hotel Services.
Key responsibilities
 * Perform catering services to a high standard
 * Ensure the safe preparation and delivery of the food service
 * Work effectively without supervision to complete catering programs in a timely manner
 * Complete the required documentation to demonstrate satisfactory catering services
To be successful in this role you will have
 * Knowledge of food safety regulation and competencies in food safety skills
 * Experience in Aged Care
 * Flexible availability and reliable
 * Ability to work in a team
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work
 * Enjoys working with the elderly
 * Ability to do shift work
