About the Role:
As an experienced Residential Care Youth Worker, you will support young people who are facing complex life situations. You will provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment, helping to develop the skills and resilience needed to lead healthy and productive lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the young people in your care feel safe, supported, and valued
* Foster positive relationships with young people, their families, and the community
* Assist in the development of social, emotional, and life skills
* Support young people in making healthy choices and accessing appropriate healthcare
* Work collaboratively with a therapeutic care team to implement tailored care plans
* Maintain a clean, safe, and structured home environment
* Manage daily tasks, including written and verbal reports, case notes, and documentation as required
Mandatory Requirements:
*
o Relevant experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
o Current Open Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
o Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent (or actively working towards, with the commitment to complete within 12 months of your employment start date)
o Current First Aid and CPR certificates (within 12 months)
o Availability for shift work including weekdays, weekends, and sleepovers as rostered
o Current Paid Blue Card
o Hope and Healing Certificate (will organise for you)
o Current National Police Check (within 6 months)

Employment Types
We are offering permanent part time of 56 hours a fortnight minimum.
