Job Overview:
As a Data Scientist on our team, you will play a key role in extracting insights from complex data sets and communicating findings to stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Preparation & Analysis:
* Acquire, clean, and prepare large datasets by joining sources, handling missing values, and deriving features.
* Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
* Develop and train analytical and machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification).
Code Quality & Documentation:
* Adhere to coding standards, documentation practices, and version control (Git) to ensure reproducibility.
* Support knowledge transfer through process documentation and code notes.
* Participate in stand-ups, reviews, and planning sessions to improve outputs.
* Deliver clean, structured datasets or preparation scripts/notebooks.
* Produce EDA outputs such as notebooks, tables, charts, and written insights.
* Provide model training and evaluation artefacts.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate has experience with data analysis, machine learning, and programming languages like Python/R. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential. Additionally, proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI is beneficial.
