**About You**
You will be responsible for working collaboratively with all levels of the division, all from members of the Executive Leadership Team through to front line leaders, as well as members of Serco's global ethics compliance community to ensure the integrity of the business. You are able to identify, understand and assess ethics compliance and human rights risks and work with internal systems and processes to manage such risks. You have experience undertaking investigations as necessary and report findings and recommendations as required.
**About the Role**
Serco's ethics compliance program is a critical element that ensures that the corporation meets its values and delivers its services with high standards of business integrity. The Head Ethics compliance works within the Legal, Assurance and Risk enabling function and report to the AsPac Chief Legal and Risk Officer. There is also a strong working relationship with the Group Director Business Compliance and Ethics and the Group Ethics team. The Head Ethics Compliance AsPac forms part of a close-knit community of divisional ethics compliance leads who engage regularly through the Ethics and Compliance Oversight Group. The role also engages annually with the Corporate Responsibility Committee (a formal committee of the Serco Group plc Board).

To be successful you will have_**
- Relevant experience working with internal corporate ethics systems and processes (such as internal speak up tools, third party/vendor due diligence, conflicts of interest and modern slavery), developing and implementing ethics compliance programs, developing a strong ethical culture and handling issues and investigations within a comparable (complex, multi-site) organisation.
- Degree (Law or related tertiary qualification preferred but not essential depending on experience).
- **Good understanding of risk management and specifically assessment of ethics compliance and human rights risks.**:
- Experience in delivering ethics or related training activities.
- Track record of influencing senior and executive leaders on the ethics compliance agenda.
- **Highly developed people skills applicable at all levels of the organization.**:
- **Proactive self-starter who will take ownership of the area and deliver to requirements.**:
- **Comfortable working autonomously within broader team environment.**:
- Whilst travel will be mínimal, an ability to travel within Australia and internationally on short notice.
