Job Description:
The Visitor Services Officer will deliver exceptional visitor experiences at the Halls Gap Information Centre. This role requires a professional and knowledgeable individual who can provide high-quality information services to tourists in a busy environment.
* Provide courteous responses to personal and electronic inquiries
* Maintain accurate daily visitor statistics and contribute to annual visitor satisfaction surveys
* Manage brochure stocks, displays, and office areas effectively
* Participate in familiarization tours to tourism facilities and attractions as required
* Collaborate with council staff on tourism matters
* Assist the Team Leader Visitor Services in service delivery and training
This is a part-time position (13 hours per week) including some weekend work. The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent basis.
