The Energy Developments team at Xodus provides consultancy services to the energy sector during the early stages of project development from inception to the commencement of Front End Engineering Design. As a truly integrated consultancy, we bring together a range of technical specialists with the right skills and experience to solve our clients' challenges in the identification and selection of the optimum developments, and the path to realise their value.
We have a need for an engineer to join our team within the Asia Pacific region. Working as a key member of a small, dynamic team, you will support existing and new clients by developing their projects across a broad range of technologies and products in the energy sector. In particular, the work will support our clients in their contribution to the Energy Transition and therefore you will have a keen interest or experience in oil and gas development as well as emerging technologies such as carbon capture, utilisation and storage, hydrogen production and associated products, and renewable energy resources.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Energy Development Manager, the engineer performs engineering activities and interfaces with other project disciplines as required to assist delivery of a wide variety of projects to our clients. The role will be to support delivery of Energy Development projects as well as support other discipline teams, when necessary, in the successful delivery of Xodus study scopes.
Responsibilities include:
1. Support the Energy Development Manager in the delivery of high calibre support to projects and clients through the undertaking and execution of job tasks as required.
2. Ensure delivery of Energy Development Engineering scopes within cost, quality and schedule limits.
3. Liaise with other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions are developed.
4. Develop engineering solutions to specific project and client specifications.
5. Prepare calculations, technical notes, reports and presentations as required for efficient communication of findings/deliverables to the client and within Xodus quality requirements.
6. Participate in HAZOP/HAZID/Design Review meetings, where necessary.
7. Assist with the preparation of proposals by provision of technical support.
8. Develop new and maintain existing client and stakeholder relationships.

Academic Qualifications and Experience
- Industry or relevant experience
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering and/or other related engineering disciplines
- Knowledge of suitable software tool packages for analysis and proficient in the use of business software packages such as MSOffice.
