We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as Metal Fabricators. Candidates will take pride in their work, have a willingness to learn and share knowledge, have a high skill set, and must be well presented. Knowledge of the building industry is advantageous but not essential.
The successful applicant will work in our Battery Point workshop to fabricate a variety of interesting and challenging metal products including but not limited to balustrades, staircases, doors, windows, furniture, and some light structural steel work. The job will also include onsite installations in commercial and residential work sites, generally around the city.

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Ability to interpret design, plans, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirements.
* Ability to think on your feet, every project we do is bespoke.
* Ability to fabricate metal products to a high standard.
* Ability to measure precisely and work within tolerances.
* A high level of TIG welding is advantageous.
* Ability to use welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and stick weld to Australian standards.
* You will work with mild steel, aluminium, stainless-steel, copper and brass.
* Finishing metal to a high standard ready for painting or powder coating.
* Ability to work and be part of a small productive team, with can do attitude, safety mindset and punctual.
* You must be able to work independently and as a team.
Other Duties May Also Include:
* Various onsite welding and installation.
* Pickup and delivery of products.
* Site measuring.
This Position requires the following (or must be willing to obtain):
* Current driver's license (essential).
* Light Truck license would be an advantage.
* CAD experience desirable.
* Must have experience as a metal fabricator.
