The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability and safety of our high-voltage infrastructure as an Electrical Infrastructure Specialist. This involves the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of substation assets across our network.
You will respond to system incidents, perform high voltage switching, or support major maintenance and construction projects as part of a team that values safety, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform fault finding, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of substation assets
* Develop and maintain technical capabilities for substation construction and repairs
* Conduct high voltage switching and provide emergency standby services
* Lead safety practices and prepare safe work documentation
* Act as Crew Leader when required, ensuring safe and efficient task delivery
* Document work progress and issues accurately in corporate systems
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent Electrical Trades Course Certificate (electrician trade course)
* Familiarity and experience with Wiring Rules and other Australian Standards
* Flexibility to support on call/ afterhours requests and respond to system incidents
* A current Australian Driver's License
Desirable Qualifications
* NSW Fair Trading Electrical Supervisor Certificate or Contractor Licence
* Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
* An understanding or willingness to understand Substation Secondary Systems
* An understanding of diagnostic testing techniques for substation apparatus
