Community Engagement Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to develop and deliver engaging programs that cater to diverse community needs.
This role will involve collaborating with internal teams, external agencies, organisations, and stakeholders to create a sense of place and focus for community celebration.
You will have opportunities to network with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on community aspirations, building strong relationships that foster partnerships and collaborations.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, sound knowledge of community development, events management, recreation, or related fields, and excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
A tertiary qualification in library and information studies, community development, events management, recreation, or a related field is highly desirable, along with substantial experience in a similar related role.
This position requires the ability to mentor, motivate, and train volunteers and staff in a customer-centric environment, possession of a Driver's Licence, Police Clearance, and willingness to obtain an Apply First Aid Certificate, as well as ability to work after hours as needed.
