That's where you come in.

The role:

You're that extraordinarily mischievous person who'll lead Brandformance strategy across our businesses, distilling complex challenges into simple mischievous ideas, like these for Mutti and Boost Mobile. As our Head of Strategy, you'll be the person who connects all of our creative, paid, earned and owned wires together to help deliver an effective commercial result. And you'll be the confident, ambitious, inquisitive and mischievous eye that champions progressive creative thinking in all areas of marketing to make exceptional things happen.

Reporting into the Managing Director and Partner, you'll also work alongside a range of team heads in the business to execute this role. For creative, you'll work closely with our Creative Director to shape creative strategy. For paid media, you work closely with our Head of Paid Media to shape media strategy. For earned media, you'll work alongside our Managing Director who leads the earned team to shape earned strategy. And for owned, your work alongside our Head of Social to shape owned strategy.

* Define the strategic product of the agency by creating frameworks, setting briefing standards, develop proprietary insights and thinking models, and establishing what "good strategy" means internally
* Commercial and business framing that translates marketing briefs into business challenges through growth levers
* Champion mischievous creative thinking and integration across teams through insightful and energetic briefs (It could be a creative, paid that deliver best in class campaigns and solutions
* Act as senior strategic counsel to CMO and executive-level clients across our major clients, such as Viva Leisure, Boost Mobile, Pizza Hut, Honda, Mutti, Peters Ice Cream, and Indeed
* Taking the lead on and shaping our effectiveness program by champion effectiveness frameworks, keeping ahead of marketing best practice and ensuring measurable commercial impact, which includes top-tier award entries such as Effies and Spikes
* Lead, guide and shape annual planning processes, brand positioning projects and transformation briefs
* Co-lead new business strategy, shape pitch stories and represent the agency in creds meetings
* Building a strategy team whilst mentoring and developing the strategy skill set across the wider agency team (everyone should be a strategist)
* Contribute to our thought leadership with sharp and progressive views that raise our industry profile
* Nurturing relationships, creating opportunities, delivering bigger and better briefs for the agency via new and existing business

How you'll be measured:

* You'll be given a set of KPIs to work to from get-go that will include;
* Delivering against KPIs for our key clients
* Creation of an agency strategic product that delivers innovative fresh thinking
* Delivering campaigns that scores a noteworthy creative and effectiveness awards
* Client satisfaction
* WiredCo. business performance and growth

The experience:

* 12+ years experience in leading agency roles as a proven strategy lead/director/head
* Evidence of defining the strategic product for an agency
* Evidence of effective fame driving campaigns; big brand and experience is a must
* A strong understanding and passion for creative, paid, earned and owned
* Used to providing high-level direction, but also keen to be hands on
* We have a lot of eComm clients, so an understanding of eComm mechanics is helpful
* If you're a kind soul who believes mateship makes magic, where creativity is everything and you like to get things done efficiently (we call it Whooshka), then there's a high chance we'll be compatible

The package:

* $220,000 to $250,000 inc. Super and depending on experience
