About the Roles
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
* Practice Manager (Full-Time)
* Medical Receptionists (Full-Time & Part-Time)
These are exciting opportunities to join a new and growing practice and play an important role in delivering excellent patient care and service.
Practice Manager – Key Responsibilities
* Manage the overall daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
* Lead, support, and develop administrative and clinical support staff
* Oversee all billing processes including Medicare, private billing, health funds, DVA, and WorkCover
* Monitor financial performance, including reconciliation and reporting
* Promote a high standard of patient service and positive patient experience
* Coordinate appointment systems, patient flow, and scheduling across the practice
* Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare standards, policies, and accreditation requirements
* Maintain effective communication with clinicians, suppliers, and external partners
Practice Manager – Requirements
* Demonstrated experience managing a medical, dental, or specialist practice environment
* At least 1–2 years’ experience in a practice management role
* Proven leadership ability with experience guiding and supporting a team
* Strong understanding of Australian healthcare billing systems, including Medicare
* Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional approach
* Proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and take initiative
* Competent in using practice management systems (experience with Xestro or similar highly regarded)
* Exposure to specialist or complex billing processes is an advantage
* Interest or experience in marketing and practice growth initiatives will be well regarded
* Full working rights in Australia
Medical Receptionist – Key Responsibilities
* Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly, calm, and professional manner
* Managing appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations
* Handling patient enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Assisting with billing, invoicing, Medicare, and private health insurance claims
* Supporting clinicians with general administrative tasks as required
* Contributing to a positive, supportive, and efficient front-of-house environment
* Using Best Practice and HotDoc for appointments and recalls
Medical Receptionist – Requirements
* Prior experience in a medical reception or healthcare-focused customer service role
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a caring and patient-first approach
* Well-developed organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Comfortable using practice management systems and general office software
* Professional, friendly, and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
* Genuine interest in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care
