Job Summary:
Maintenance Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Wollert, Victoria.
This is a Monday to Friday role with shift coverage during leave periods. You will be responsible for managing site changes and processes as well as preventative maintenance of PLC networks, SCADA, and process control communications systems.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Standardised Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Identify and scope change management needs, propose solutions, and implement actions.

Responsibilities:
Project & Maintenance Delivery:
* Scope, install, test, and commission electrical projects as required.
* Plan and carry out maintenance tasks to minimise equipment downtime.
* Ensure all plant assets are well-maintained for optimal performance.
Problem Solving & Analysis:
* Conduct breakdown analysis to identify root causes and recurring issues.
* Recommend and document effective solutions to improve plant reliability.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
* Train maintenance staff in PLC networks, SCADA systems, and process control communications.
Flexibility & Team Support:
* Be available for after-hours breakdowns and flexible with working hours.
* Provide support across other roles within the Electrical Department as needed.
Requirements:
* Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident.
* Electrical trade certificate.
* Demonstrated experience using the MEX Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and working with IT networking/control systems.
* Strong technical aptitude with proven problem-solving skills in a trade environment.
* Effective fault-finding skills in technical and electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimise downtime.
