Job Description
SGS is seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual to join our laboratory team in Orange as a Multiskilled team member. We foster a focused and supportive culture and are committed to making SGS a great place to work. Good literacy, teamwork, attention to detail, and initiative are required.
Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Matching samples delivered with the supplied paperwork and noting any discrepancies or missing samples.
- Loading and unloading samples onto drying racks and maintaining their numerical order.
- Milling samples and transferring sub-samples into sample packets in the correct numerical order, following established Quality Control procedures and avoiding contamination.
- Understanding of sample analysis procedures.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential.
- Forklift Licence (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness to perform required tasks.
- Ability to meet site access requirements (training, induction, medical checks).
