Lead Road Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities
* Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research, analyse, and report on road safety data, trends, issues, and opportunities.
* Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with departmental staff, government agencies, and community groups to address strategic road safety outcomes.
* Operational Efficiency: Manage financial and human resources to ensure operational efficiency and professional road safety service delivery.
* Workforce Management: Effectively manage all aspects of the team's workforce, including employee behaviour/conduct, appraisal and development, workplace health and safety, and recruitment and selection.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A current driver license is required.
* A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
* The successful applicant must hold and maintain a Working with children check (Blue Card) upon commencement of employment.

* Strong time management and organisational skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and deliver outputs.
