The Role:
Our client, a national not‑for‑profit in the health/community sector, is seeking an experienced National Quality & Governance Manager to strengthen quality, risk and compliance frameworks across their Australian operations.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will:
- Own and manage the national quality and governance framework
- Oversee legislative and regulatory compliance across multiple states
- Lead risk management system audits and follow‑through on improvements
- Use Folio to manage risk, incidents, quality actions and governance workflows
- Provide advice on insurance, risk exposure and claims
- Prepare clear reports and dashboards for executives and board committees
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll move between strategy, systems and detail in the same day.
About You:
You’re a quality / risk / governance professional who is comfortable working in a complex, values‑driven environment and knows how to make systems actually work for frontline teams.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in a Quality, Risk, Governance or Compliance role, ideally at a national or multi‑site level
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, quality, governance, risk or related fields essential
- Folio software experience (or very similar quality/risk platforms)
- Background in NFP, health, disability or aged care
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance and audit processes
- Exposure to insurance from an operational/risk perspective
