Essential Skills and Competencies
Laundry Assistant qualifications Certificate III or IV or significant experience in a similar position
Teamwork with colleagues
Effective communication skills
Friendly and positive personality
Working in an aged care setting
A passion for working in aged care
Computer skills
Understanding of hygiene and safety practices in aged care
Current police check required
Working rights required
Seasonal Influenza vaccination highly desirable
COVID vaccination highly desirable
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
An understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation and continuous improvement requirements.
