Senior Manager, Operations & Performance Job No.: 684405 Location: Mulgrave Employment Type: Full-time Duration: Fixed-term appointment until May 2026 Remuneration: $140,157 - $148,769 pa HEW Level 09 (plus 17% employer superannuation) Amplify your impact at a world top 50 University Join our inclusive, collaborative community Be surrounded by extraordinary ideas - and the people who discover them The Opportunity The Senior Manager, Operations and Performance supports the Senior Director, Strategy & Operational Performance in delivery of the UMAC strategy and operations, and key strategic, workforce, operational and transformation projects. This includes managing a range of strategic and operational activities including planning, prioritisation, operational technology implementations, major projects, business improvement, performance measurement, resources management and administration. As the successful candidate you will: Lead and manage the delivery of key strategic, operational and transformation projects in support of the UMAC strategy and University initiatives. Contribute to strategic planning and the achievement of UMAC’s strategy and University’s goals through implementation and continuous improvement of UMAC’s planning framework. Lead and develop a highly-trained, motivated and efficient team with a strong project delivery focus, including performance management, planning and allocating staff resources. Prepare briefing papers, strategies, business cases, project and change management plans and collating key pieces for various leadership and executive forums. Manage and oversee risk, compliance and quality assurance processes for large scale projects, including change management, organisational culture programs and regular monitoring and reporting in accordance with University and legislative requirements. Co-design the future direction of the UMAC People Strategy considering divisional workforce planning and implementation, capability uplift, culture, connection, talent and development to enhance the staff experience.
