About the Role
This role is based within Surgical Services Theatres at John Hunter Hospital, a fast‑paced and high‑acuity environment where cleanliness and infection control are critical to patient safety. As a Hospital Assistant Grade 2, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across theatre areas. Your work will directly support clinical teams and contribute to safe, high‑quality care for patients.
Responsibilities
* Provide basic hospital cleaning skills and understand infection control and priority cleaning standards.
* Work in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in your work.
* Be hardworking, reliable, punctual and positive in your approach.
* Work well independently and as part of a team.
* Have previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
