Location: Australia remote with strong travel cadence

Reports to: CEO

Team: Sales, Growth, Partnerships & Merchant Success (initially small, rapidly scaling)

Try with Mirra is a retail technology platform reinventing how customers buy online. We provide secure Try at Home technology for fashion and beauty brands, reducing consumer hesitation and guesswork by allowing customers to try first and pay later, just as they would in store. This becomes a powerful growth lever for brands, driving higher order values while elevating the end-to-end customer experience.

We work with leading brands across Australia and are now successfully onboarding brands in the US and UK. We're entering the next phase of growth and are looking for a leader who can scale this momentum globally.

The Role


We're looking for an exceptional sales leader capable of owning our commercial strategy, scaling proven sales motions and building a high-performing sales organisation to support our next phase of growth.

This person will:

* Architect and own our global Go-To-Market strategy
* Build, mentor and scale a high-performance sales organisation
* Close marquee enterprise and mid-market brands personally
* Turn Mirra into a category-defining revenue engine

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. You will operate comfortably in scrappy startup mode while designing systems that scale.

What You'll Own



1. Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution

* Own and evolve Mirra's GTM across Australia, US, UK and Europe
* Translate product value, data and customer outcomes into a repeatable, scalable sales motion
* Decide which levers to pull and which not to pull, at each stage of growth
* Align sales tightly with product, marketing, partnerships and merchant success


2. Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

* Full ownership of new MRR, expansion revenue and long-term revenue mix
* Design and enforce pipeline structure, qualification criteria, deal stages, forecasting and reporting
* Personally lead and close Tier 1 / Enterprise deals (multi-threaded, exec-level)
* Drive disciplined use of CRM (HubSpot) and revenue reporting


3. Sales Team Build & Leadership

* Hire, develop and mentor a world-class sales team (BDRs → AEs → Enterprise)
* Move reps from activity to commercial judgement
* Create a culture of accountability, clarity, momentum and pride
* Coach people to exceed targets, not just hit them


4. Commercial Strategy

* Own pricing, packaging and deal strategy in partnership with the CEO
* Confidently navigate subscription + usage + enterprise commercial models
* Use ROI modelling, data and merchant economics to accelerate buy-in
* Balance short-term growth with long-term revenue quality


5. Market Presence & Network Leverage

* Leverage a deep network across ecommerce, retail, fashion, beauty and platforms
* Represent Mirra with credibility at events, partner meetings and exec rooms
* Build strategic relationships that compound over time
* Help position Mirra as the category leader in Try Before You Buy commerce

Who You Are


You are someone who has:

* Built and scaled sales in a high-growth startup (ideally from <$1M to $10M+ ARR)
* Proven track record expanding Australian/international companies into the US market
* Led sales teams that consistently outperformed targets
* Sold into ecommerce, retail, fashion, beauty or adjacent platforms
* Closed complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
* Seen what breaks when companies scale and know how to avoid it

Ideally, you have been:

* A former sales leader from companies like Shopify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, or similar e-commerce technology providers
* Ex-consultant from agencies serving fashion/beauty brands
* Revenue leader from successful Australian tech companies that expanded globally
* Sales executive from retail technology or fintech companies serving merchants

You are:

* Commercially sharp and deeply strategic
* Humble, coachable and hungry for success
* Comfortable in ambiguity, allergic to fluff
* Data-led but not data-paralysed
* Calm, confident and decisive under pressure
* Energised by building something meaningful from the ground up

You do not need:

* A big-company title
* A perfect resume
* A rigid playbook that only works at one stage

You do need:

* Taste/Style
* Judgment
* Pattern recognition
* Relentless ownership of outcomes
