The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director of Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to the Department of Medicine.

About You
You'll lead a dedicated team of medical specialists and registrars, oversee clinical governance, and play a key role in service development, education, and continuous improvement across the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department of Medicine
* Foster excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement
* Supervise and mentor senior and junior medical staff
* Drive innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
* Represent the Department in strategic planning and hospital‑wide initiatives
Remuneration & Benefits
* Total package: up to $562,124 p.a., including:
* Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
* Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.)
* 12.75% Superannuation
* 17.5% Leave Loading
* Motor Vehicle Allowance
* Attraction & Retention Incentive Allowance (Private Practice arrangements available)

About You (Qualifications)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
* Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
* Proven leadership and governance experience in a complex healthcare environment
* Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation
