Job Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to drive consistent business growth and achieve sales targets in assigned territories through identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing relationships.
This is a genuine account management position requiring the successful person to manage multiple stakeholders within hospitals, build strong professional relationships with customers, and ensure a positive patient experience.
The successful person will develop and execute new business strategies to achieve profit targets through the identification and attraction of new markets and customers, as well as the expansion of existing major accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain close professional relationships with multiple stakeholders within key accounts and ensure their needs are met by our company where possible.
* Explore and understand account-specific barriers to optimizing patient treatment and work collaboratively with customers to problem-solve solutions.
* Carry out targeted sales calls to maximize efficiency.
* Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, understanding referral pathways to maximize utilization of our products.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territories.
* Operate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent skills in developing professional relationships with stakeholders, networking, tact, and diplomacy.
* Demonstrated account management skills and experience within hospital settings, with an ability to identify, partner with, and leverage key opinion leader relationships.
* Pharmaceutical sales experience required, especially in multi-level hospital environments.
* Completed industry qualification (CEP or equivalent).
* Experience dealing with Neurologists/Geriatricians preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of the public and private hospital environment and pharmaceutical industry.
