Restaurant Manager
We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our busy restaurant on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership to the team, whilst delivering outstanding customer service.
* They will work closely with colleagues to oversee the day-to-day management and efficiency of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage stock levels, order supplies, and collaborate with chefs regarding menu planning and dishes.
2. Coordinate purchasing and pricing of goods according to established procedures.
3. Lead a restaurant floor team at peak periods.
4. Facilitate staff training and development, performance evaluation, and staff retention and succession plans.
5. Monitor roster numbers against expectations and adjust as necessary.
6. Ensure staff adhere to high standards of uniform and grooming.
7. Prepare reports on staff control, food control, and sales.
8. Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
9. Assist in any area of the restaurant as required.
10. Ensure dining facilities meet health regulations and are clean, functional, and well-maintained.
11. Greet guests, assist with order taking, and check satisfaction with meals and dining experience.
12. Coordinate and organise functions being held at the restaurant to ensure smooth running.
