About the roleWe are seeking a Regional Asset Manager to join our Property Development & Assets team.
Reporting directly to the Director Asset Management, this role focuses on ensuring effective preventative and reactive maintenance as well as overseeing minor works projects.
You'll lead stakeholder engagement at the site level within our North QLD portfolio of assets.
This full-time permanent opportunity offers flexible work arrangements and is based at our Corporate Head Office Brisbane, Kelvin Grove.
Key activities: Proactively support site maintenance staff in the delivery of facility maintenance services including workforce planning, on-call rostering, leave management and performance management Manage enterprise-wide maintenance contracts Develop and manage annual Opex and Capex budgets for maintenance services and capital replacement budgets for plant and equipment Ensure appropriate statutory and preventative maintenance records are generated and stored electronically and available for audit by Government Authorities and Agencies Monitor site maintenance compliance through periodic desktop audits of maintenance records, physical site inspections and interviews with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
About you Demonstrated experience in managing a team, providing strategic direction and engaging with stakeholders Sound financial management skills including budgeting and forecasting Working knowledge of domestic or commercial construction practices or facility maintenance procedures Relevant degree or trade qualification in construction, building maintenance, contract administration or significant demonstrable experience deemed equivalent Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite Participate in rotating on-call and after-hours emergency response roster across all sites in the property portfolio Interstate and intrastate travel to our sites at least 3 times a year and you will require your own vehicle for use.
