Pay range: $101,106 a year, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available
You will:
* Work collaboratively with individuals experiencing a range of complex needs—including mental health challenges, substance use, family violence, and financial hardship—to support them in sustaining safe and stable housing.
* Thrive in a supportive, collaborative team environment that values both organisational and external partnerships.
* Leverage a wide network of community resources, including drug and alcohol support, mental health services, real estate agents, Centrelink, the Department of Housing, and community housing providers.
* Stay flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of the people you serve.
* Excel in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment where urgency drives meaningful outcomes.
* Utilise your strong computer skills to efficiently work across multiple platforms, including SRS, QHIP, AHVTT, and Excel.
* Showcase your exceptional written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to connect confidently with diverse individuals in various settings.
* Demonstrate your commitment to working respectfully and effectively with First Nations peoples.
About you
The ideal person for this role will:
* be experienced engaging with people with complex needs and helping people through crisis, preferably within a housing context.
* be able to demonstrate strong initiative and effective problem-solving skills
* have experience working in community services
* have knowledge of the current barriers to sustaining housing.
