Project Coordinator and Planning Specialist
We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to lead the delivery of complex programs and projects within our ICT unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective project management frameworks, templates, processes, and governance to ensure provision of accurate project information, consistent outcomes, and effective collaboration with other department resources.
2. Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
3. Rundown the procurement activity to find a technical partner that offers best value for the organization.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
5. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation, including risk and issue management, and direct the work of project resources and others to ensure successful delivery of the program.
6. Ensure compliance with best practice project management methodologies and industry standards for IT networking and security.
7. Manage project resources and budgets, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
8. Provide expert advice on service delivery levels, product utility, and performance.
9. Identify emerging issues/risks and their implications and propose solutions.
10. Coach and mentor project managers and other employees to continuously improve the capability within the team and organization.
11. Deliver reports, analysis, and recommendations on function performance outcomes and future direction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certification in Project Management or similar fields.
* Minimum of five years experience leading and delivering complex programs and projects in medium to large size organizations, with experience in procurement.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful and confident presentations to executive level stakeholders, project teams, and stakeholders.
* Robust business acumen with the ability to problem-solve, analyze project impacts, and deliver strategic outcomes.
* Experience in ITIL Change and Organizational Change Management principles and practices.
* Working knowledge of project management software (Basecamp, SharePoint, MS Project etc).
* Staff and vendor performance evaluation, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Training and mentoring existing staff who have limited experience in project management.
* Queensland 'C' Class driver's license that is current and maintained.
