In the Delivery Station you join, you will coordinate and oversee a vital environment within our business, helping to continuously delight our customers while focusing on safety, service quality, customer experience, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing operations that focus on delivering Amazon orders directly to customers.
- Strategically lead a team, comprising Shift Managers and Shift Assistants.
- Proactively manage healthy, positive working relationships on a day-to-day basis.
- Collaborate with key business partners, such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering.
- Track and drive operational goals and metrics of the Delivery Station and regularly present findings to the senior leadership team.
- Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for the delivery station.
- Support all safety programs to ensure a secure work environment for all associates and delivery service providers.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
- Lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily management, including meetings, training, assigning duties, and communicating with FLEX drivers.
- Ensure a safe workplace with properly trained people and address their needs so they can focus on their jobs.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
